At 14:45, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the 24000 Block of Walden Road. The Ford pick-up truck was fully involved upon arrival. Foam was used to extinguish the blaze. Rescue Engine 206 and Tanker 207 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Virginia State Police.
