At 10:30, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a vehicle fire in the 19000 block of Maringo Road. The vehicle caught fire in a drive thru lane of a bank. A customer was behind the vehicle and pushed the vehicle out from under the drive thru canopy with his pickup truck. Another person got a portable extinguisher from inside the bank and knocked down the fire. Engine 204, Tanker 202, and Command 209 responded along with a unit from the Washington County Life Saving Crew.
