At 13.33, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Baugh Lane and Panacella Drive. The vehicle was being a U S Mail carrier vehicle was observed totally involved upon arrival. The driver was not injured and most of the mail was recovered before the vehicle was destroyed. Engine 204, Tanker 207, Battalion 209 and Utility 210 along with a unit from the Washington County Life Saving Crew.
