At 07:06, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a vehicle accident in the 12000 block of Whites Mill Road. Single vehicle accident with one person in the car. Extrication was necessary to remove the patient from the vehicle. Driver was flown to Bristol Regional Medical Center by MedFlight. Engine 201, Utility 207, Brush 208, and Command 210 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew and VA State Police.
