At 1400, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of W Main and Colonial Road. A VW and a truck pulling a trailer were involved. The VW sustained heavy damage. Fire personnel conducted roadway cleanup and assisted in traffic control. Engine 201 and Utility 207 responded along with units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew and the Abingdon Police Department.
