Abingdon Fire was alerted to a 2 vehicle accident on Trigg Street at 14:58. A pickup truck with two occupants was traveling South on Trigg Street and hit a Town of Abingdon Public Works Brush Boom Truck traveling North. Both occupants of the pickup truck were transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital by Washington County Life Saving Crew. The pickup truck sustained extensive damage. Rescue Engine 205 and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Abingdon Police Department, Abingdon Public Works and Washington County Life Saving Crew.
