At 08:27, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a vehicle accident in the 200 Block of Sunset Drive. A van was backing out of a steep driveway and became stuck in loose gravel. Driver accelerated to get the vehicle free, backed off the side of the driveway and rolled over in the yard, landing on its wheels. Driver substained minor injuries and was transported by a unit of the Washington County Life Saving Crew. Engine 204, Utility 207, Command 201 and Command 209 responded along with Abingdon Police.
