At 22:26, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a 4- vehicle accident at the intersection of Porterfield Highway and Chantilly Way. Upon arrival, two of the vehicles had received the bulk of the damage and there were no injuries in the accident. The pickup truck that was rear ended could not move with the rear of the bed pushed up against the tire. We used the winch off Brush 208 to free the wheel so the vehicle could be moved off the highway. Engine 201, Brush 208, Utility 207, Command 209 and Command 210 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew and VA State Police.
