At 15:20, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a two vehicle accident on Lee Highway near the entrance of the Johnston Memorial Hospital. Both vehicles end up in a yard on the south side of the highway. There were no injuries in the accident. Engine 201, Brush 208, Utility 207 and Command 210 responded along with units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew and VA State Police.
