At 17:00, Abingdon Fire responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 81 Southbound near Exit 17. The vehicle ended up on its top and 3 occupants of the vehicle were transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital. Chief 201, Rescue Engine 205, Rescue Engine 206 and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew, Washington County Fire Rescue, Virginia State Police and Virginia Department of Transportation.
