At 16:51, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a 2-vehicle accident in the 800 Block of Hillman Highway. At least two occupants of the accident were transported to JMH by units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Glade Springs Life Saving Crew. Heavy damage was sustained by both vehicles. Engine 201, Utility 207, Brush 208, Command 209, and WCLSC Units 54 and 50 responded along with assistance from GSLSC Unit 63. Abingdon Police Department units investigated the accident. Abingdon Fire units cleared at 17:37.
