At 11:04, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a head-on collision at the intersection of East Main and Old Eleven Drive. The white vehicle lost most of its antifreeze in the roadway and fire personnel cleaned the road using oil dry. No injuries were reported and Abingdon Police investigated. Engine 201 and Utility 207 responded. As the fire units were clearing this call, a dispatched was received for a vehicle fire on Jeb Stuart Highway and both units responded to that call.
