About 7:20, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a second accident at Main and Charwood. Most units were working the accident on Whites Mill Road when this call was received. This accident involved two vehicles at the traffic signal. The driver exiting Charwood and turning onto Main was hit on the driver’s side by a truck heading west on Main. This driver was being attended by Washington County Life Saving Crew personnel. The driver of the truck was not injured. Engine 204 responded along with the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Abingdon Police.
