Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident at the intersection of East Main Street and Thompson Drive. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew checked the occupants of the vehicles. Engine 201, Utility 207 and Command 209 responded along with WCLSC 56. Units of the Abingdon Police Department investigated the accident. All fire units cleared and back in station at 22:44.
