At 14:55, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a vehicle accident at the above intersection. Both vehicles suffered major damage. Fire personnel removed fluids from the roadway as result of the accident and assisted in traffic control. Nobody involved in the accident was transported to the hospital. Engine 201 and Utility 207 responded along with units from Abingdon Police and Washington County Life Saving Crew.
