At 1830 hours, Abingdon Fire responded to a two vehicle accident on White’s Mill Road near the Ebony Lane intersection. The driver of the first vehicle was transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center with a compound fracture of his leg. The occupants of the second vehicle elected to go to the emergency room in a personal vehicle. Rescue Engine 205, Utility 210, Utility 211, Chief 201, and Battalion 209 responded along with units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Virginia State Police.
