At 09:27, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a two vehicle head-on collision in front of the Abingdon Police Department on West Main Street. Both drivers were transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital. Rescue Engine 205, Battalion 209 and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Abingdon Police Department, Washington County Life Saving Crew and Abingdon Ambulance Service.
