At 0825, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a two vehicle accident in the 1000 block of West Main Street. Both vehicles received extensive damage. Engine 201, Utility 207, and Command 209 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Abingdon Police Department. One driver was transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital.
