At 19:50, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Porterfield Highway and Russell Road. No injuries were reported. The impact created a heavy amount of fluids and debris in the roadway. Fire personnel cleaned up the roadway and directed traffic. Rescue Engine 205 and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew, Abingdon Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
