At 13:27, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a two-vehicle accident in the 300 Block of East Main Street. Rescue Engine 205 and Battalion 209 responded along with Abingdon Police and Washington County Life Saving Crew. One of the passengers was transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital. After clearing debris from the roadway all units returned to the station.
