At 15:15, Abingdon Fire responded to a two-vehicle accident in the front of the Washington County School Board Office. Two individuals were transported by Washington County Life Saving Crew. Traffic in the area was complicated by vehicles leaving Abingdon High School from the first day of classes. Chief 201, Rescue Engine 205, and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Abingdon Police Department. Roadway cleanup was completed by Fire Personnel.
