At 11:07, Abingdon Fire was alerted to an accident at the intersection of Cummings Street and Cook Street. No injuries, but a lot of debris in the roadway. A Washington County Life Saving Crew ambulance was involved in the crash but was not responding to a call nor was transporting a patient. Utility 210, Chief 201, Utility 211, and Battalion 209 responded along with units of the Virginia State Police and Abingdon Police Department.
