At 11:23, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to establish a landing zone for Virginia State Police Med Flight in relation to a tractor rollover accident in the 21000 Block of Worthing Way. The operator came down a steep bank while mowing and rolled the tractor over at the bottom of the hill. The patient was transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center by Med Flight. Chief 201, Rescue Engine 205 and Brush 208 responded along with the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
