At 15:08, Abingdon Fire was requested to respond to a tractor fire by Washington County Fire Rescue in the 14000 block of Wyndale Road. Upon arrival, the tractor was fully involved. The tractor was part of a dairy farm operation and was parked in a nearby structure when workers found it on fire and quickly pulled the tractor into the field away from the structures. Foam was applied during overhaul operations to completely extinguish the fire. Chief 201, Rescue Engine 205 and Rescue Engine 206 responded along with a unit from the Washington County Life Saving Crew.
