At 01:35, Abingdon Fire and Meadowview Fire were dispatched to two mobile homes on fire. The original mobile home fire is believed to have started on an outside deck. This fire spread the radiant heat of the fire to the second mobile home and then to the third mobile home. A third fire department, Washington County Fire Rescue was also dispatched to assist. The original mobile home had two occupants, the second had five occupants and the third mobile home was unoccupied. Chief 201, Chief 202, Engine 204, Rescue Engine 206, Tanker 207, Battalion 209 and Utility 210 responded along with units from Meadowview Fire Department, Washington County Fire Rescue, Washington County Life Saving Crew and Abingdon Police. The American Red Cross assisted in providing for the families affected.
