At 23:18, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a structure fire in the 200 Block of Taylor Street. The primary dwelling was on fire in the kitchen. A male subject was located in the structure and had to be rescued. Fire was knocked down quickly. Engine 204, Engine 201, Tanker 202, Utility 207 and Command 209 responded along with units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew, Washington County Sheriffs’ Department and Abingdon Police Department.
