At 16:03, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to the 22000 block of Watauga Rd for a reported structure fire. Engine 204, Tower 203, Tanker 202, Command 209, 210 and utility units 207,208 and 206 responded. Greens Springs Fire Dept responded for Mutual Aid. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished to a single room of the residence. No one was home at the time of the fire.
