At 14:52, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the 21000 block of Vance Mill Road. Smoke was found to be coming from the rear of the 2 story structure upon arrival. A wood stove in a sunroom on the rear was the cause and part of the roof was removed to put out the fire. Engine 204, Tower 203, Tanker 202, Utility 207, Command 209, and Command 210 responded along with Washington County Life Saving Crew 55 and the Washington County Sheriffs’ Department. All units cleared at 15:48.
