Abingdon Fire was dispatched for automatic aid with Washington County Fire Rescue to a structure fire in the 17000 block of Rim Road at 02:55. Upon arrival, fire was observed coming from the front of the structure. A quick knockdown of the fire was performed. The fire originated in the area of the bathroom at the front of the structure. On scene apparatus consisted of Engine 101, Tanker 105, Chief 201, Engine 204 and Utility 210. The structure was not occupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
