At 16:35, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a structure fire in the 26000 Block of Pleasant View Drive. The single-family structure was heavily damaged by fire and smoke. The cause was believed to be a glue gum used to make crafts was left on in the basement. Engine 204, Tanker 202, Tower 203, Utility 207, Support 206, Command 209 and Command 210 responded along with units of the Washington County Life Saving Crew and Washington County Sheriffs’ Department.
