At 1901, Abingdon Fire and Green Springs Fire were alerted to a structure fire off Denton Valley Road on Banjo Drive. Flames were visible when first units arrived on the scene. Damascus Fire was then alerted for addition help. The structure was a total loss, but no injuries were reported. Abingdon Fire Chief 202, Tanker 207 and Utility 210 responded along with units of the Green Springs Fire, Damascus Fire, Damascus Rescue, and Washington County Sheriffs’ Department. Units were back in station about midnight.
