At 07:19, a pickup truck traveling West on Main Street veered off the roadway and hit a utility pole. The driver was not injured. Abingdon Fire was alerted to control a fuel spill on the roadway. Chief 201 and Utility 210 responded along with Abingdon Police. Appalachian Power Company responded and stabilized the pole before the vehicle was moved by the wrecker service.
