At 11:11, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a mobile home fire in the 16000 block of Chandler Drive. Life Saving Crew units arriving on scene advised the structure was fully involved. Chief Burke requested assistance from Washington County Fire Rescue. Upon arrival, heavy fire and smoke was visible throughout the entire mobile home. Crews works for about 3 hours to finally extinguish all the fire. Engine 204, Tanker 202, Brush 208, Command 209 and Command 210 responded to the call along with assistance of the Washington County Fire Rescue Tanker. A unit from the Washington County Life Saving Crew stood by during the blaze.
