At 18:09, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a hay baler on fire in a field in the 18000 Block of Repass Road, west of Abingdon. The baler was in the process of round baling hay when the blaze erupted. When members arrived, the baler was blazing and was extinguished using Brush 208. Foam was applied to aid in the extinguishing of the tires. Tanker 202, Brush 208, Utility 207 and Command 210 responded along with a unit of the Washington County Life Saving Crew.
