At 05:08, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a structure fire in Damascus for a fire on the roof of the Columbus McKinnon Plant. Tower 203 and Battalion 209 responded along with units from Damascus, Glade Spring, and Meadowview Fire Departments. Abingdon also responded with Utility 210 and the Rehab Trailer. After fire was extinguished, it was reported that the plant would reopen on Monday 01/23.
