Abingdon Fire was alerted at 14:47 to assist Meadowview Fire and Glade Spring Fire on a fire in an abandoned structure at the intersection of Old Salt Works Road and Moore Creek Road. Upon our arrival, the fire was under control with a few hot spots remaining. Fire Departments that were on scene did a good job in confining the fire from spreading into the remainder of the structure. Abingdon Fire responded with Engine 204 with four personnel to assist.
