At 13:10, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to assist Washington County Life Saving Crew with a body recovery in an apartment complex on Deadmore Street. Members were required to use hazardous material personal protection equipment to make the recovery. Chief 201, Chief 202, Rescue Engine 206, Battalion 209 and Utility 210 responded along with units from the Abingdon Police Department, Abingdon Ambulance Service and Washington County Life Saving Crew.
