Aircraft Fire and Rescue Class at Va Highlands Airport

Fifteen members of the Abingdon Fire Department attended a 16 hour school at VA Highlands Airport on June 26 and 27. The school helped the students familiarize themselves with the layout of the airport and the different types of aircraft that land there. The school was jointly sponsored by the VA Department of Fire Programs, VA Highlands Airport and the Abingdon Fire Department
