Single Vehicle Accident

At 20:26, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a single vehicle accident  in the 18000 block of Wyndale Road. The vehicle hit a concrete abutment that was probably part of a former railroad crossing. The single occupant of the vehicle was treated and transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital by the Washington County Life Saving Crew. Engine 201, Utility 207, Brush 208, and Command 210 responded. VA State police investigated the accident
