At 11:07, Abingdon Fire was alerted to an accident at the intersection of Cummings Street and Cook Street. No injuries, but a lot of debris in the roadway. A Washington County Life Saving Crew ambulance was involved in the crash, but was not responding to a call nor was transporting a patient.

At 1422, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 at the 21.1 mile marker in the median. The van left the northbound lane and rolled over in the median. There were three occupants in the vehicle and extrication was done on both sides of the vehicle.

At 10:43, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a single vehicle accident that was reported to be on fire. This was in the 13000 block of Rattle Creek Road. Upon arrival, the pickup truck was on its side and was on fire.

At 1137, Abingdon Fire was alerted to a forest/brush fire in the 14000 Block of Porterfield Highway. The fire was started by a subject burning brush at his home. The burn ban was in effect at that time and the winds were a major factor in this fire.
