Great website Guys and Gals.I worked 7 years in the Fire service back in the 1980s and it's still so much in my blood today. My wife has family in Abingdon and if we were to move there it would be an honor to visit. Be a bigger honor to serve on your department. : ) Stay Safe !!

I was the driver of the Jeep that was involved in the June 25 accident at the intersection of Hutton and Main St. To all the members of the Abingdon Fire Department who responded to the accident; You all were genuinely compassionate and I appreciate that. I had never been involved in that type of situation before, so ofcourse I didn't know what to do or what to expect after. But you all were willing to answer my silly questions, offer advice, or tell of similar experiences. Also thanks to the Chief who gave me a ride home! and Bob, a part of HUB family, I'm sorry for not recognizing you. You all were very good to me and I am forever grateful.
